We decided to take our own newborn photos of Baby Essa! Best choice ever as we could mess around with angles and be as nit-picky as we wanted to be. Granted they aren't true professional shots, we are still very happy with them!
Now basically all we do is take photos of her cute little face. Most days, she looks just like Jeff....other days, she looks exactly like Adaira!

We are so excited to announce that our baby, Essa Rae, arrived this week:) She is incredibly gentle, quirky, smart and motivated! I know thats a lot to say for someone who just poops, pees, sleeps and eats all day but it is totally true!
Adaira's mom and dad were able to make it out to Boston just before the huge snow storm arrived! We were able to deliver Essa safely without getting trapped in the blizzard! I have to say the nurses, doctors and ancillary staff at Brigham and Women's are AMAZING. If I have a second baby, he/she will definitely be delivered there. It's so fun and scary to learn as we go! We are learning about feeding and sleeping habits as well as how to finance a baby/save for college as well as life-hacks for traveling with a baby/maintaining personal identity as adults. I know the learning is overkill but we are incredibly excited new parents:) None of this comes naturally but we are so grateful for the opportunity to participate in developing a special human being. We love you Essa! (Late Post) Jeff and I decided to make a short video that captures the essence of what it is like for me to get ready for work (or anything rather) while being super pregnant! Jeff and I can't believe that March 2017 has arrived! We made our announcement video for friends and family months ago and we still enjoy watching it! Jeff got to bust out his accent for this one. |
